Rant & Rave for May 25

“If ‘recent articles on climate change are beginning to make sense,’ just wait until you read one debunking it. You'll have to find that elsewhere.”

“Hooray for Rico Walker, founder of Relief from the Streets. He must be quite an inspiration to all the boys and men he works with. He deserves a lot of hurrahs.”

“There is nothing that is equal to being a Christian. It is the only way to heaven. Being a Republican won't save your soul, but it won't condemn it, either. The Democrat Party did vote to remove any mention of God in its platform at its 2012 convention. Denying God will condemn you.”

“Sure, let's look at the last six years. Six years of fighting the Republicans on every turn and, despite that, the economy is flourishing again, the stock market is at record levels and, best of all, jobs are coming back. Had the Republicans cooperated, these things would not have taken six years to accomplish! I will remember these Republicans on election day. You cannot deny the jobs statement here. Your own Nathan Deal is running on that platform!”

“These days, the comics page makes far more sense than the news in the rest of the paper. God help us.”

“I do love reading the rants, especially the liberal viewpoints. They only serve to remind me that ignorance truly is bliss.”
