Rant & Rave for July 4

“Here it is the summer and there is no pool in Cairo. Why did they tear down the Davis Park pool? When will they build the new pool?”

“I thought the Times-Enterprise didn’t print anything slanderous. The rant on the front page of Thursday’s paper is just outrageous. Shame on you! Shame on the Times-Enterprise! Shame on the editors!”

“Dear Obama ranter: It is a good thing that Republicans have tried to block everything Obama has tried to push through. If they hadn’t, it would take all the money taxpayers have made just to pay for the entitlements he wants for the people who don’t want to work.”

“I will not simmer down. Jimmy Carter is a very intelligent human being who is a Christian.  He has devoted his life to making things better for his fellow man. President Nixon was a crook; President Reagan sold guns to Iran-Contra; President Bush No. 1 increased taxes; and President Bush No. 2 got us into two illegal wars and left the United States bankrupt. President Carter still has supporters out here who will defend him.”

“Do you think if Allen West, Herman Cain or Ben Carson were in the White House, conservatives would still be hating them because they were black? Remember, character trumps color.”

“Our country is being invaded on its southern border and no one in Washington is doing a thing about it. It is time for the southern states to join forces and put a stop to it. The feds are guilty of treason for allowing this to happen.”
