Rant & Rave for April 2

— “Please, Americans and Georgians, get the United Nations out of our country. We are becoming slaves to it.”

“Thank you, Rev. Jones, for a fine article. It was very patriotic and tells the truth about our president, who is working very hard to make sure this country stays safe and that we do not end up like we did under the Bush administration.”

“Purcell’s editorial had no facts, just innuendos, and it was very unpatriotic. It was unpatriotic and full of opinions. When will the Republicans and the conservatives stop downing our country?”

“I wonder if the Times-Enterprise ever gets tired of printing nasty things about the president of the United States. Put that on the front page, why don’t you?”

“President Obama is overmatched. He can’t handle the economy or international affairs. I just hope the country is not in complete shambles by the time we get a new president.”

“College athletes should not be allowed to unionize.”

“President Obama is doing a great job of leveling the economic playing field. He is making more of us poor.”

“Democrats fear that they are going to lose control of the Senate in the fall. They should be worried.”

“I wish Congress was like the Georgia General Assembly. It shouldn’t meet but a few weeks a year, too.”
