There have been glimpses.
But Shane Boggs and the Brookwood offense are still looking for a complete showing as John Paul II visits Warrior Field at 7:30 p.m. today.
The Warriors are 0-2 and have scored just 10 points total. Turnovers, penalties and assignment mistakes have all teamed together to keep the Brookwood spread attack stuck in neutral.
“We’ve had some signs of productivity on offense,” Boggs said. “We had the ball inside the 18-yard line three times last week. So we’ve just got to finish the drive.”
That has certainly been a problem for Brookwood in its losses to Southland Academy and Westfield. The Warriors have turned the ball over seven times during the first two weeks, and that comes on the heels of a turnover-plagued scrimmage against Crisp Academy as well.
