THOMASVILLE — In the eighth-place game of the Holiday Hoopfest, Twiggs County pulled away from Brooks County 74-64.

Wyyontee Glover scored 27 points to lead Twiggs County. Teammate Markevion Hooks added 25.

Tim Rose led Brooks County with 18 points.

Long County 50,

Redan 47

THOMASVILLE — Long County defeated Redan 50-47 in the fifth-place game of the Holiday Hoopfest on Saturday. Jamaal Anderson led Long County with 20 points.


Brunswick 64,

Brooks County 28

THOMASVILLE — In the third-place game of the Holiday Hoopfest, Brunswick crushed Brooks County 64-28.

The Lady‚ÄąPirates led 21-2 after the first quarter and were never challenged.

Brianna Gipson led Brunswick with 18 points.
