Warriors to see familiar offense

THOMASVILLE — Whatever Flint River Academy throws — or runs — at Brookwood on Friday night, it shouldn’t be anything new to the Warriors.

For the third straight week Brookwood will be facing a shotgun spread offensive attack. The Warriors also run a similar offensive system as well.

“From a system standpoint, we have some similarities with them being a spread gun team,” Brookwood coach Shane Boggs said. “They try to put you in a bind with some of the things they do as far as motion.

“They have really good play complements I think. On any given play, they make you defend the whole field which I think is something that prevails in almost every good offensive team.”
