Thomas University senior midfielder Nathan Would was named a 2012 NAIA third team All-American by the NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Selection Committee.
The native of Cleethorpes, England led the Night Hawks in assists (8) and finished second in goals (8) and total points (24). He was one of only four student athletes from The Sun Conference to be selected to the All-America list and the only one selected to one of the teams, with three being named Honorable Mention. The selection marks the first time since 2002, when Keith Dunne was selected to the Second Team, that a Night Hawk is named to an All-American team. A total of 33 players were named All-Americans.
Would was named First Team All-Sun Conference back in November and finished among the top two vote getters for his position and among the top six overall in the voting for Conference Player of the Year.
