Popular Monroe Crossing returns

THOMASVILLE — Monroe Crossing’s third visit to Thomasville on Saturday is likely to be a charm. The first two certainly were.

Named in honor of Bill Monroe, “the Father of Bluegrass Music,” Monroe Crossing dazzles audiences with an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel and heartfelt originals. Their airtight harmonies, razor sharp arrangements, and on-stage rapport make them audience favorites across the United States and Canada.

“Of all the bands we’ve have in the last 10-12 years, this is the one that I think most people ask to have back,” said Len Robinson, who books shows for the Thomasville Municipal Auditorium’s “Another Night of Bluegrass” series.

The Monroe Crossing show is set for 7:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 and are available at the Visitors Center, 144 E. Jackson St., from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. They will also be on sale immediate before the show.

All seats are reserved.
