Jobs and education go hand in hand, said Eugene “Gene” McNease, a candidate for the District 11 state Senate seat.

He said Hyundai, Mercedes and Honda have located in Alabama, and Airbus has announced plans to go there.
“It has to do with their tax structure and education,” McNease said. “Tax structure is a big incentive.”
