Trio charged in home invasion in Boston; others being sought

THOMASVILLE — Three suspects are in jail, and two others are being sought in connection with a home invasion at a Boston residence.

A group of people entered the Boston residence late Thursday morning. The trio of suspects was in custody by midafternoon Thursday.

“No one was taken from the residence,” said Wally Van Heiningen, a Thomas County Sheriff’s Office investigator.

Individuals were moved from room to room at gunpoint and ordered to stay in the various rooms.

“One gentleman was assaulted, beaten with a gun,” Van Heiningen said. The man suffered facial injuries, but refused medical treatment.

Suspects took cell phones, beer, coolers, change and a machete, with a total value of $300 to $400.

Charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping are:

• Marcus Antwan Wilson, 21, 6173 Drylake Road, Quitman

• Chris Antonio Dunbar, 22, 521 Chestnut Ave., Boston

• Crystal Renee Guyton,  25, 208 Phillips Drive, Quitman

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of two others: Sean Sebastian Ghee, 20, 1408 S. Madison St., Quitman, Tony Eugene Staten, 21, 1003 N. Culpepper St., Quitman.
