TPD investigating burglaries

THOMASVILLE — Thomasville police are investigating 30 burglaries in as many days.

Most of the burglaries were at residences

“Six of these are businesses,” said Lt. Eric Hampton, Thomasville Police Department public information officer.

Thieves are taking primarily electronic items, including flat-screen TVs. Also being taken are video games and lap-top computers.

Residences are being entered by force through locked windows and doors.

“We need help from citizens who might have seen something regarding these crimes or have heard and know information about any suspects who are involved,” Hampton said.
