Staff report

THOMASVILLE — Archbold Memorial Hospital has welcomed back family nurse practitioner Crystal George, NP, to the hospital’s medical staff.  George worked as postpartum and operating room nurse at Archbold for seven years before pursuing her practitioner degree. She now rejoins the Archbold team alongside Jason Griffin, MD; Kimberly Pickens, MD; Dale Wing, MD; Bruce Allen, PA; and Heather Champion, NP, at Archbold Primary Care. The practice provides health care for patients including wellness exams, preventive measures and women’s health. It also treats patients with chronic diseases and acute conditions requiring hospitalizations.

George earned an associates degree in nursing from Darton State College, a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Thomas University and a master of science degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

“I look forward to working at Archbold Primary Care,” said George. “I’m proud to be a part of the Archbold health care network again and I’m excited to rejoin the team in providing healthcare for the residents of Thomas County.”

Archbold Primary Care and George are accepting new patients. The practice welcomes Medicaid and Medicare. To schedule an appointment, call Archbold Primary Care at (229) 584-4100.
