Faircloth wins economics award

— The Agricultural Economics Association of Georgia recently presented its two annual awards during its meeting recently held in Athens.

The J. W. Fanning Young Professional Award was presented to Jim Faircloth of GAC member company Syngenta for his excellent work in the field of agriculture.

Faircloth, son of Thomasville’s Marsha Graham and grandson of June Travis of Thomasville, has climbed quickly during his five years with Syngenta, working as a sales representative in Nebraska, a retail business representative in Georgia and now as district manager in California.
