THOMASVILLE — On Tuesday, the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce (TTCCOC) held its monthly networking meeting Voices of Our Members (VOOM) where it announced its 500th new member, Southern Vines & Garden Market. The chamber has been working toward this number for the past month and had the help of many existing chamber members and the chamber ambassadors to achieve this goal.

"One of the things that we wanted to do was to strengthen our organization through new members. Since the beginning of the year, we have been able to recruit 35 new members and are proud to say we now have a total of 500," TTCCOC Executive Director Lauren Basford said.

Southern Vines & Garden Market, which is based in Valdosta, is looking to do more business in the Thomasville area. It provides a variety of products, including container gardens, interior arrangements, seasonal decor/arrangements, bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, wedding arrangements/decor, etc.

"We understand Thomasville's roots grow deep and that the town prides itself on time-honored tradition. However, new ideas and fresh faces are in the forefront of every community, and we truly appreciate such a warm welcome. It was exciting to learn that we were the 500th member and we are excited for the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber to have reached their benchmark in the process," Southern Vines & Garden Market co-owner Andrea Collins said..

Lindsay Leverette, owner of Servpro of Thomas, Colquitt and Grady counties, was the chamber member who referred Southern Vines & Garden Market and was rewarded with $100 in Downtown Thomasville Bucks.

The chamber plans to set a new goal for its membership and hopes that the community will be as involved as it was this time.
