'Dance Machine' on way to realizing dreams

THOMASVILLE — Even though she is just five years old, Nishyah Duncan is getting closer to making her dreams come true. The Jerger elementary school kindergartener wants to be an actress and a model when she grows up.

After earning the nickname “Dance Machine,” Nishya was the third runner-up in Talent and Casual Wear in the Georgia Miss pageant, giving her a chance to compete in the National America Miss pageant in California.

Before Duncan and her mother, Nicole, made the trek to the West Coast, Nicole received a phone call from RTracy Photography. Based in Nashville, Tenn, RTracy Photography photographed the Georgia Miss pageant along with four other state pageants.
