THOMASVILLE — MNW Boys & Girls Clubs are open to all children ages 6-18, especially those most in need. In Thomasville, more than 200 young people participate each year in the Club’s after school programs, with that number increasing during the summer months when Clubs are open all day. While most Club Members are considered at risk, they are not without hope. MNW Boys & Girls Club Units offer kids an opportunity to realize their own strengths and use them as a foundation for successful, productive lives. Not only do members have fun, but at the Club during the school year, they are involved in quality programs, such as Power Hour homework help program; computer skills training; career exploration; arts and crafts; fitness and sports; and, especially, character development and leadership programs, such as SMART Moves, a prevention program.
