Ceremony to mark opening of art installation

THOMASVILLE — The public is invited to attend a special ceremony to commemorate the first of a series of outdoor public art installations. The Art in Public Places ceremony will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. at the corner of Broad Street and Remington Avenue.

The art installation will officially kick off during the ceremony with several speakers, including Mayor Max Beverly.
