THOMASVILLE — A man wearing a glove on his right hand held up a Thomasville business at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Clerks at Dollar General, 1113 W. Jackson St., were closing the store about 9:40 p.m., when a man armed with a handgun entered the business and demanded money.

“He held two clerks at gunpoint and took money from the cash register,” said Lt. Eric Hampton, Thomasville Police Department public information officer.

The bandit, with his right hand gloved, comes through loud and clear on the store security video.

“The video actually showed the suspect pointing the gun at the clerks and taking money from the cash register tray,” Hampton said.

The suspect also took a money bag, which he demanded at gunpoint.
