The Thomasville City Schools superintendent has four relatives employed in the school system.
“Each of the superintendent’s family members has at all times held the required credentials for their respective positions. These certifications are reviewed and corroborated with the State of Georgia Professional Standards Commission,” according to the response from the Thomasville City Board of Education when questioned by the Times-Enterprise about the relatives and their qualifications.
Superintendent Sabrina Boykins-Everett’s relatives employed in the system are:
• Moses Everett Jr. (husband) — Graduation coach (Thomasville High School)
• Moses Everett III (son) — Teacher (Career Pathways-Exploratory Course)
• Brook Archer Everett (daughter-in-law) — Teacher (early childhood education)
• Susanne Boykins (sister) — Teacher (middle grades)
