Narcotics agents found crack cocaine and firearms on a loveseat when officers executed a search warrant at a Stevens Street residence Friday morning.
After learning the resident, Marcus Jones, 39, 904B Stevens, was selling cocaine at his house, agents executed a search warrant, said Kevin Lee, Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division commander.
Agents found several large pieces of crack cocaine on a loveseat near where the suspect was sitting.
They also found a .32-caliber long handgun and a Hi Point 9-mm assault-type rifle. Both firearms were loaded.
Jones is charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a public housing project, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
