Long recognized by chamber officials

THOMASVILLE — On Monday, the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce officials recognized the Most Outstanding Ambassador for January 2014.

Ambassadors volunteer their time every month by focusing on new and existing member outreach and are awarded points based on their level of participation.

For January, Dr. Jeanine Long, Director of Career Placement/Development and Disabilities Services Coordinator at Southwest Georgia Technical College was recognized for being the Ambassador with the most points.

Long was also named the Most Outstanding Ambassador for December 2013.

The chamber is honored to have Long as well as every other ambassador on their team, officials added.
