SCeNE to conduct fundraising events webinar

THOMASVILLE — The Southern Center for Nonprofit Excellence (SCeNE) at Thomas University will present the webinar “Improving your Fundraising Events” at 1 p.m. Wednesday,. This event will feature an online discussion with event specialists from Lives Without Limits.

 “Creating the right event can mean all the difference in fundraising for a nonprofit organization,” said Rick Munroe, chair of the SCeNE Advisory Board and Vice President for Advancement at Thomas University. “Lives Without Limits is one organization that’s created an ongoing event that’s been tremendously successful. During the webinar, we’ll find out more about how they do it.”

 Lives Without Limits is a charitable faith-based organization that focuses on improving the lives of individuals with physical or mental disabilities by providing opportunities for personal growth, physical needs and supporting research for cures. The organization provides outdoor-related opportunities, education, and partnerships between participants with disabilities and non-disabled participants. Lives Without Limits also provides assistance with in-home needs such as building access ramps, resources for transportation and supplies. To learn more about Lives Without Limits, visit

 Created by a consortium of nonprofit leaders with the purpose of strengthening regional charitable organizations, the Southern Center for Nonprofit Excellence (SCeNE) provides high-value professional development and networking opportunities and other resources for the regional nonprofit community. The Center directs its offerings at the intersection of community needs and the distinctive and substantial knowledge base of recognized leaders in the field of philanthropy.
