The Airmasters Model Airplane Club is inviting the public to its annual Fall Fly-in in Oct. 26.
This remote-control flying event will be conducted just north of Albany and east of Leesburg on Hwy 32 East. It's just east of the Lee County Public Works Department at the intersection of Mossy Dell Road and Hwy 32.
The pilot registration fee is $10. A current AMA license is required to fly.
Pilots and spectators will be able to purchase tickets for several raffle items.
Concessions will be available. There will be doughnuts to start the day followed by hot dogs and hamburgers, plus soft drinks, coffee and water all day.
There will be a flying demonstration beginning about 12:30 p.m. with some of the top RC pilots in the area flying various types of aircraft. The B-29 and Bell X-1 from Andersonville are included in the show.
