Members of the Thomasville Garden Club are thinking ahead to holiday decorating with their annual wreath and garland sale.
According to Mary Tomlinson, chairman of the project, two varieties of wreaths can be ordered.
“We are selling balsam wreaths and garlands as well as a mixture of pine and cedar wreaths and garlands,” she said. “We have found that both hold up very well outside, and the cedar and pine combination keep especially fresh indoors.”
The wreaths are shipped directly from North Carolina and can be picked up on Friday, Dec. 6 at the Garden Center.
For more information and to place an order, see a member of the Thomasville Garden Club, call Tomlinson at 226-6649 or print an order form from the Garden Club website. www.thomasvillegardenclub.org. All proceeds will benefit the programs of the Thomasville Garden Club, whose goals include beautification, education and conservation.
The Thomasville Garden Club was founded in 1914 and will celebrate its 100 year anniversary this spring.
