Motorcade delivers gifts to SWSH residents

THOMASVILLE — Thomasville officials joined other municipalities Thursday in an effort to make the holiday season special for Southwestern State Hospital residents.

As part of the Georgia Municipal Association’s annual Mayors’ Motorcade, officials delivered the Christmas spirit, along with gifts and personal-care items.

The city collected donations from many local organizations and individuals.

The donations were presented Thursday morning during the culmination of the Mayors’ Motorcade. Without the program, many hospital residents would not receive a gift this year.
