Services for Corinne Louise Wilson Stevenson are 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at First Unity Missionary Baptist Church, located at 715 Broadnax Street. Rev. Charlie Ross is pastor and Dr. I.L. Mullins will officiate. Interment will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery. She was born May 31, 1951, in Thomasville, to the late Calvin Wilson Sr. and Corinne Wilson, who survives. She was known to some as “Honey Bunch,” but to the kids she was known as “Sugga Momma.” She held positions as a meat processor, cook and fast food manager until her health failed. Survivors include three daughters, Corinne McIver and Germaine McIver, both of Durham, N.C., and Shentoni Wilson of Thomasville; six grandchildren, Kwindarius Sapp and Kendré Solomon, both of Durham, D’meko Wilson and D’maseo Wilson, both of Thomasville, Christopher Williams of Thomasville and J’Kai Williams of Durham; three sisters, Patrica (Willie) Henderson of Coolidge, Janice (Barron) Scott of Durham and Bernice Wilson of Thomasville; brother, Stephen (Sharon) Wilson of Thomasville; two sisters-in-law, Doretha Wilson and Yong Wilson; adopted son, Anthony Showell; favorite niece, Lisa (Terrance) Wilson; personal caregiver, Shemikkia Graham; her rabbit, Buster; and four god children, Brandon Williams, Jamazia Wilson, Jazlynn Wilson and Jayla Wilson; and, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and very good and dear friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin Wilson Jr., Charlie Wilson and Willie Wilson.
