THOMASVILLE — Archbold officials reported Tuesday that to date there have been 562 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 57 deaths, since testing began March 11. There also have been 3,872 negative test results.
There have been 268 people admitted to Archbold hospitals since testing started. Over the past week, the system has had 22 new positive test results and 418 new negative results. Seven people have been admitted to Archbold hospitals in the last week for COVID-19.
The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 388 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 33 deaths. There also have been 69 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.
Statewide, there have been more than 67,600 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19. leading to 2,688 deaths in Georgia and 10,123 people being hospitalized.
The state has administered nearly 875,000 tests.
