THOMASVILLE — Archbold officials reported Tuesday that to date there have been 591 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 58 deaths, since testing began March 11. There also have been 4,284 negative test results.
There have been 274 people admitted to Archbold hospitals since testing started. Over the past week, the system has had 29 new positive test results and 412 new negative results. Six people have been admitted to Archbold hospitals in the last week for COVID-19.
The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 435 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 32 deaths. There also have been 71 people to be hospitalized because of the novel coronavirus.
Statewide, there have been more than 81,000 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19. leading to 2,805 deaths in Georgia and 11,051 people being hospitalized.
The state has administered nearly 991,000 tests.
