Dennis Jon Duncan, of Munith, Michigan, formerly Quitman, Georgia, age 48, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on June 2, 1964, the son of P.D. and Charlotte Duncan. He had lived in the area since 1999, coming from Georgia. He enjoyed bass fishing, hunting, golfing, and in his earlier years softball, football, and running track. For the past ten years he was an employee of Eastern Michigan University. On June 6, 1987, he married Cynthia Ann Brown in Tifton, Georgia and she survives. Also surviving are his parents of Quitman, Georgia, two daughters, Devae and Holly of Munith, his twin brother Daryll Duncan of Quitman, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Anna Marie Brown of Thomasville, brother and sister-in-law, Blake Brown, Thomasville and Tracy (Greg) Coward, Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1 P.M. at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, MI (with Rev. Kathy Schell officiating). The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Dennis’ family for his daughters’ education fund. — Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, Michigan
