Archbold recently named Julie Dumas, BSN, RN, as Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety for the health system.
Dumas has been with Archbold since 2005 and has over 15 years of healthcare experience, including direct patient care as a critical care nurse and nearly 11 years in hospital leadership roles.
Most recently, she served as the Director of Hospital Accreditation for the health system.
Dumas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, both from Valdosta State University.
“Julie’s extensive knowledge of Archbold’s system and her experience in leading multidisciplinary teams focused on quality and patient safety will be very valuable as she takes on this new role with the organization,” said Darcy Craven, Archbold’s president and CEO.
“I’m looking forward to this new opportunity,” said Dumas. “I’ve worked at Archbold almost my entire healthcare career, and I feel passionate about providing the safest environment for our patients and staff.”
