Graveside services for Martha Jeanne Bruce Bradshaw, 88, of Boston, Ga., are at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Boston Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate. Mrs. Bradshaw went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2014. She was born to the late Sam and Ruth Bruce on August 24, 1925, in Boston, Ga. Mrs. Bradshaw was the eldest of eight brothers and sisters. She married Floyd Lee Bradshaw Jr. in 1948, and they raised their four children together in the charming town of Boston. Mrs. Bradshaw dedicated her life to raising her children. She was a lifetime member of Boston Baptist Church. She loved to laugh and loved living her life in Boston surrounded by family and friends. She spent the last several years of her life at Southern Pines, which she dearly loved, in her precious pink cottage. Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Bonnie Bradshaw of Thomasville; daughter and son-in-law Jenny and Eddy Householder of Tyrone, Ga.; and son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Nancy Bradshaw of Melbourne, Fla.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brothers. Frank (Pap), Al, and Mike; and sisters Mary and Sarah (Pet). Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Floyd; her oldest son, Brad; and her brothers Walt (Bubba) and Sammy.
