The Times-Enterprise has something for people who would like to get a jump on hunting Easter eggs.
Circulation manager Thomas Clements recently hid an egg in Thomas or Grady county. The person who finds it will receive $100 cash and a $100 gift certificate from American Pawn, 1306 E. Jackson St., Thomasville.
“It contains a gold $1 George Washington coin, too,” Clements said.
Clements said the hunt is designed for children.
“We hope families will hunt the egg together,” he said. “It’s hidden so a kid can find it. It’s not up high or anything like that. It’s hidden just like a regular Easter egg.”
The initial clue to the egg’s whereabouts is, “The bridge is nearby.” Additional clues will be published daily in the Times-Enterprise starting Tuesday.
