Butler to lead city BoE for another year

Members of the Thomasville City Schools Board of Education take their oaths of office.

Kejar Butler was selected to serve another year as chair of the Thomasville City Schools Board of Education.

This will be Butler’s third consecutive year as chairman of the city schools board. 

Board members also chose Britney Glass to serve as vice-chair. 

Re-elected board members Dr. Hazel Jones and Corey Sumner took their oaths of office as did Russell Beckham. Beckham succeeds Dr. Jim Cable, who chose not to run for re-election after being appointed to the seat.
