The Thomasville Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has awarded Keona Tillman, a senior at Thomasville High School, with the 2019 DAR Good Citizens Award. Thomasville High School Principal Dr. Shannon Norfleet (left) presents the DAR Good Citizens Award certificate to Tillman on behalf of the Thomasville Chapter DAR. The DAR Good Citizens Award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in their homes, schools and communities. These students are selected by their teachers and peers because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree. Thomasville Chapter DAR Historian Deb Phillips is the chapter’s Good Citizens Award Committee Chair.
