Thomas County Central High School Fine Arts Department presented its second annual Fine Arts Night on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
The evening, commonly referred to as “FAN,” showcases the artistic talents of the youth who are involved in the department’s programs. It took place at the Thomas County Board of Education Auditorium. The event was free and open to the public.
The evening’s theme was “Romance and Love.” Band and chorus members serenaded the audience with romantic musical selections such as “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and “Stars I Shall Find.” Youth dancers twirled across the stage to Taylor Swift and Beyoncé tunes. Budding actors performed scenes from “Almost, Maine.” And to top it off, a gallery featuring student artists’ work was open for viewing with specially-created pieces for sale in the lobby.
