The Havana History & Heritage Society’s Shade Tobacco Museum will present “Airstream Club International – Wandering the Globe Since 1955” on Friday, April 5, 2:30 p.m., and again on Friday, April 6, 10:30 a.m. As the title implies, Airstream International president Mona Heath will talk about the evolution of the popular travel trailers that have traveled throughout the world for more than 60 years.
Come see this free presentation during the museum’s Smithsonian Exhibition, “Crossroads: Change in Rural America,” now showing through May 4. Other local presentations and dates in the Smithsonian Speaker Series are: Agriculture research in Gadsden County (IFAS), April 13; and FSU’s rural-focused medical program, April 27.
