THOMASVILLE — Teenagers from the Marguerite Neel Williams Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Georgia focused on childhood cancer.

Many of the teens admitted that they have heard about this disease that affects millions of children and families’ lives daily but they did not know exactly what it was. However, they took the time to research and read countless articles to educate themselves.

Club members completing the research project received gold bracelets that symbolize how precious children are and their resiliency.
