The Thomasville Exchange Club recognized and celebrated longtime member C. J. Rehberg at a recent lunch meeting with his family members in attendance: Charles and Peggy Rehberg, Teresa and Robert Braswell, Emmerdale Crew, Donna Brookerd and granddaughter, Missy.

For the past 60 years, Rehberg has been an active and faithful member of the Thomasville Exchange Club serving as Exchange Club president in 1962 and Fair Board President in 1992 and 1993. Rehberg also served on the State Fair Board for 20 years.

Club member Ron Dixon welcomed guests and educated the membership on Rehberg’s many contributions to the club including several humorous stories going back to days and times long before the birth days of some of the more youthful membership.

Club president Patrick Scarbrough presented a plaque of appreciation to Rehberg for his 60 years of service and completed the presentation with a building dedication and new sign for the meeting room to be now known as the C.J. Rehberg Building.

Several standing ovations were a testament to what Rehberg means to the members of the Thomasville Exchange Club.
