THOMASVILLE — Thomas University will host a public lecture next month through the Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellows Program.
Speaking at the lecture will be Rodney Bent, former director of the United Nations Secretary-General’s office in Washington.
The event will be held at Smith-Bonvillian Hall on TU’s Forbes campus on Monday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Prior to his work with the UN, Bent also served as a senior executive advisor in the U.S. State Department and at Booz Allen Hamilton and was former deputy CEO and acting CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

Bent will also meet with with different groups of students throughout the week of Feb. 24-28. A more detailed schedule will become available within the next several weeks.
