A man’s foot is taped into a large, red high heel for the 2014 Walk A Mile In Her Shoes.

THOMASVILLE — The Walk A Mile In Her Shoes and Red Shoe Run are Saturday, March 28, at Southwest Georgia Technical College.

Men wear bright-red high heels and walk a mile to raise funding for The Treehouse Children’s Advocacy Center of Thomas County Inc.

The Center in 2014 conducted 104 forensic interviews and 44 sexual assault examinations.

Friday is the deadline for sponsors to get their names on the back of event T-shirts and for walkers and runners to register to receive T-shirts.

Check-in for a 5-K run begins at 7 a.m. The run is at 8 a.m. Check-in for the One-Mile Fun Run is at 8 a.m., with the Fun Run to begin at 9.

Check-in for Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is at 9:30 a.m. The walk begins at 10:30 a.m.
