THOMASVILLE — A new lineup of Times-Enterprise features will be led by Parade beginning on New Year’s Day.

America’s most-read publication with a circulation of more than 35 million, Parade will be included in every Sunday edition of the Times-Enterprise. Parade boasts celebrity news, cooking tips, book and music reviews, quizzes on current events and lots of beautiful photographs.

Parade will kick off 2006 with the publication of its All-American High School Football Team. Parade has honored the nation’s best prep athletes in a variety of sports since 1957.

“The Times-Enterprise’s circulation is bucking the national trend by showing healthy growth,” managing editor Mark Lastinger said. “We intend to make sure that continues by occasionally freshening our product and broadening its overall appeal.”

The Times-Enterprise’s daily circulation has grown to nearly 10,000.

“I believe readers will approve of new columnists and games that will be announced soon,” Lastinger said. “We’ll announce something different every day next week. Stay tuned.”
