THOMASVILLE — A Coolidge teen was arrested after child pornography was tracked to the suspect’s residence.

The International Crimes Against Children (ICAC) notified Kevin Dennis, a Thomas County Sheriff’s Office investigator, that an internet protocol address in Thomas County was used to download child pornography.

Dennis is a member of the ICAC task force.

A local investigation began and the probe lead to Timothy Homesly III, 18, Beeline Road, Coolidge. The suspect is charged with sexual exploitation of children.

“We interviewed several people who lived at this home, and he (Homesley) admitted downloading that type of material,” Watkins said.

Using an app, Homesly was sharing images of children having sex with adults, Watkins said.

The investigation is continuing.

Watkins said ICAC is a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agency that monitors the internet. ICAC filters and processes information and contacts the jurisdiction in which the activity takes place.
