THOMASVILLE — The Thomasville High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) got into the spirit of Christmas and cleaning to raise money to sponsor a special-needs child at Christmastime.
The THS JROTC cleaned the school's football stadium as a means to raise money to sponsor the child.
THS head football coach Zach Grage presented JROTC cadets a check for $300 on behalf of the Bulldog football team for the work.
Cadets, in turn, gave the money to the Thomas County Department of Family & Children Services for sponsorship of the child.
