Thomasville High School is very fortunate to have Joe Regina taking over as the band director this year. We as parents, fans, band boosters and community members need to rise and support him. It is very hard for someone to come into a program and take over without support from all of us.
I know the three-nights-a-week practices were hard on the band members and their parents, but it all paid off when the marching Bulldogs took the field for the first football game. This is the first time in many years that I anticipated seeing the band march onto that field. I heard countless reviews from all the fans and spectators after the game.
Thanks, Mr. Regina, for taking over this program and making the Thomasville High School band the best it has been in years. Thanks for the support that you show to all the students.
Keep up the hard work.
