Whitewater flexed its offensive muscle in game one against Thomas County Central on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets’ Kristofer Lee responded with a primetime pitching performance in game two of a Class AAAA first-round playoff series.

Lee pitched a complete game in the nightcap, allowing just two runs in a 3-2 victory for the Yellow Jackets. That came on the heels of a 10-3 rout for Whitewater.

“Kris Lee pitched a gem,” said Central coach Chad Parkerson, whose team avoided playoff elimination. “It was huge. We played some pretty good defense behind him.”
