Thomasville High School baseball players Bryce Trotter and Trey Higginbotham make pennants for Christy Covington and Carmen Devane as team members Preston Nix, Ben Cone and Colby Marsh look on.

The Thomasville High School baseball team will raise awareness and funds during Breast Cancer Awareness Week April 8-12.

The team will sell Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts, pink popcorn, lemonade and cupcakes. It will also have pennants for sale in honor of breast cancer survivors or in memory of a loved one.

The baseball team will sport pink jerseys at their two baseball games that week: April 9 and 11. On those game nights, all area survivors of breast cancer are invited to join the team to be recognized on the field during pregame ceremonies. Information tables will be set up also.
