THOMASVILLE — The Thomasville Bulldogs baseball team made it four straight wins Tuesday, blanking Worth County 2-0.

Ben Rawlings went the first five innings, striking out nine and giving up just two hits. He also did not walk a batter. Jadon Lirette tossed two perfect innings in relief, fanning three.

The Rams had only two runners reach scoring position in the game. Bulldogs pitchers have given up just four runs total in the last four games.

Thomasville was held to five hits, but three of them, including Isaac Richardson’s double, came in the fourth inning when the Bulldogs plated both their runs.

Thomasville will host Berrien on Friday for a Region 1-AA doubleheader, with the first game starting at 4:30 p.m.
