THOMASVILLE — The Fitzgerald Hurricane scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning and ended Thomasville’s six-game winning streak with a 4-3 Region 1-AA baseball victory Tuesday.

Fitzgerald held the Bulldogs to just three hits. Gabe Duncan went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the loss.

Three Thomasville pitchers combined to limit Fitzgerald to two hits, a pair of doubles, and strike out 10 batters. But Fitzgerald took advantage of six walks and two hit batters.

Thomasville will travel to Early County on Friday for a doubleheader beginning at 3:30 p.m.
