THOMASVILLE — Jake Green allowed just a single over five innings, and the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets rolled to a 10-0 Region 1-AAAA baseball win over Dougherty on Tuesday.

Green struck out 10 and walked three. He threw 76 pitches.

The Jackets collected 10 hits. Griffin Taylor was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and two RBIs, and Jaylan Robinson was 2-for-3 with a triple and drove in three runs.  Bryson Rawls went 2-for-2 and Will Carson was 2-for-3. 

Central visits Dougherty on Friday for a doubleheader, with the first game scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. The Jackets host North Florida Christian on Saturday at 1 p.m.
