The Thomasville Bulldogs basketball teams made it a clean sweep of region opponents over the weekend.

The girls edged Cook 41-35 Friday night as Laila Harvey scored 11 points and Brianna Redding added 10, and the Lady Bulldogs dispatched Worth County 65-53 Saturday night.

The THS girls improved to 4-4 for the season and 2-1 in Region 1-AA.

The Bulldogs boys ran their record to 8-1 overall and 3-0 in Region 1-AA, running away with a 66-33 rout of Cook and a 79-40 romp over Worth.

Thomasville will travel to Berrien on Friday and host Fitzgerald on Saturday.
